Rörstrand Annika Plate

Annika by Rörstrand Studio
Designed 1972 by Marianne Westman
Sweden

The Annika service, created for Rörstrand in the early 1970s, is one of the most beloved Scandinavian stoneware series. Designed by Marianne Westman (1928–2017), often called “the queen of Swedish ceramics”, Annika reflects her hallmark style: simple, practical, and timeless.

Rörstrand, one of Sweden’s most important porcelain and stoneware manufacturers (founded in 1726), became internationally recognised in the mid-20th century for its collaborations with leading designers. The Elisabeth pattern embodies the brand’s philosophy of creating tableware that is both decorative and practical, suitable for modern living.
