Crafted in Sweden during the 1960s, this crystal tea-light holder is a captivating example of Scandinavian art-glass at its finest. “Starlight” pattern: Featuring a faceted, starburst or icicle-like design, it plays masterfully with candlelight, refracting and diffusing illumination into intricate patterns—creating a luminous, almost sculptural presence when lit. Made of heavy, high-quality lead crystal, lending the piece a solid, weighty feel and an elegant, ice‐like clarity. Handcrafted with a glossy finish and executed with studio-crafting techniques, this holder exemplifies meticulous Scandinavian glasswork.

Designed by Christer Sjögren (1926–2008), a distinguished Swedish glass artist whose works are represented in prestigious institutions like Nationalmuseum in Stockholm and Musée du Verre in Liège.

Manufactured by Lindshammar Glasbruk, a Swedish glassworks established in 1905. Lindshammar gained renown for its collaborations with innovative designers such as Sjögren, producing mid-century modern art glass celebrated for its craftsmanship and aesthetic clarity.

The Christer Sjögren “Starlight” crystal tea-light holder by Lindshammar is more than just a candle accessory—it’s a sculptural work of art. Its elegant facets refract light like an ice crystal. Whether displayed solo or paired, this piece brings timeless Scandinavian elegance to any space, carrying both design pedigree and artisanal quality.
