Ulla Parkdal (born 1939, Gothenburg, Sweden) is a renowned textile designer and hand-weaver celebrated for her work in the mid-20th century. She studied at HDK – Academy of Design and Crafts in Gothenburg and later served as a head designer for Eric Ewers AB before working independently using her own loom. • Gear towards geometric motifs—stepped diamonds, hourglass shapes, interlocking forms—often in calming, earthy palettes like brown, gold, beige, or muted blues and greys .
  • Common compositions feature tones such as soft lavender, walnut brown, ivory, mustard, or sienna.
  • High-quality wool, sometimes woven on a linen warp.
